Terms of service
PRISM Terms of Service
Effective: July 2026•Version: 1.1
1.Acceptance and Parties
These Terms govern the use of PRISM by individual candidates ("Users") and organizations ("Employers"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.
2.The Service
PRISM provides a behavioral assessment and personalized career report. The assessment is a descriptive tool, not a medical or diagnostic instrument. PRISM makes no guarantees regarding employment outcomes. Users retain ownership of their raw responses and the right to their report. PRISM owns the platform, scoring algorithms, and the proprietary MENA-native career taxonomy.
3.User Accounts & Acceptable Use
Users must be 16 or older. You agree to provide accurate information and not to reverse-engineer the assessment, use the service to assess third parties without consent, or redistribute PRISM intellectual property.
4.Employer Obligations (EU AI Act Compliance)
Employers accessing shared reports agree to use them solely for legitimate recruitment or talent development. Employers acknowledge that PRISM is a supporting tool, not a sole decision-maker. Employers must maintain human oversight in all hiring decisions and shall not use PRISM to make automated decisions producing legal effects on candidates. Employers must not discriminate based on protected characteristics.
5.Liability and Warranties
PRISM is provided "as is". We make no warranties that hiring decisions informed by PRISM will yield specific outcomes. Maximum liability is capped at 12 months of fees paid (for Employers) or EGP 1,000 (for free-tier Users), except in cases of gross negligence.
6.Contact and Notices
For questions about these Terms or general support, contact us at support@prism-careers.com. For privacy matters, data requests, or to reach our Data Protection Officer, contact privacy@prism-careers.com. We send legal notices to the email address on your account, so please keep it current.
7.Termination and Suspension
You may stop using PRISM at any time and delete your account from Account Settings; the Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms (for example, reverse-engineering the assessment or misusing shared reports), where the law requires it, or to protect other users or the platform. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, liability, and dispute resolution, continue to apply.
8.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version carries a version number and an effective date. When we make changes, we will notify you by email or by an in-app notice before they take effect. Continuing to use PRISM after a non-material change takes effect counts as acceptance of that change. For material changes, we will ask you to accept the updated Terms again before you continue, for example before starting a new assessment.
9.Relationship to the Privacy Policy
The PRISM Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. It forms part of these Terms and is incorporated into them by reference; by agreeing to these Terms you also acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If the two documents conflict on how personal data is handled, the Privacy Policy prevails.
10.Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be settled by arbitration under the rules of the Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (CRCICA).
